About This Gallery

This Old World Glaze is an absolutely beautiful finish. It can be done in many different depths and colors. A subtle glaze adds an elegant antiqued look to any room. As in this picture, a little bit heavier glaze gives some veining effects that add some drama, not quite as subtle. Even heavier glazing can create more of a marbled effect. Multiple layers of color add more drama to the finish which can really make a big difference in a dull foyer or plain powder bath. Try adding some murals.
