Overall, it's nice. But also, overall: too dark. I'm not a big fan of maple but the darker stain makes it less bland. Is that "rope" molding around the drawers and doors? Unusual and pretty. I would have used a lighter counter-top, like marble, to balance the dark wood. And the island would be SO much more attractive if it didn't have that huge, shiny microwave in it! I also was not fond of the applique (too small, belongs on a bureau or something) over the range. A nice wood or copper hood would have been much better. Also, I have a thing about wine racks being so high up. Wine belongs in the cellar, I believe. Still, I wouldn't throw this kitchen out if someone built it for me! ;)
