The entire surface was in a very poor condition due to many years of unprofessional paint jobs. Therefore, the surface was sanded twice prior to painting. 2 coats of paint was applied to give a smooth and fresh finish to the walls and the living room. Flat paint was used in order to hide impurities of the drywall that were technically not possible to be fixed by sanding or patching (unless if we replaced the entire sheet rock).
