About This Gallery

The before picture shows a bluestone terrace that's too small for this newly built house. I worked with the clients using chairs and the garden hose to preview a semicircular addition. New stone walls are flanked by beds of landscape roses. Opposite the house a shaded seating area was developed under old magnolia trees. The homeowners' Thai spirit house was set among old camellias. At the far end of the lawn a path leads to a secret garden of Iceberg rose trees centered with an armillary.
