About This Gallery
The rear yard of this brownstone had been neglected for many years. As a result, tree saplings and debris claimed the space. The client wanted a shady seating area for retreat from the hot summer days. Even though most of the saplings were removed, ample shade was provided by the building and adjacent trees. Since the space was to be used primarily during the summer, deciduous shrubs and perennials that bloom in late spring to fall were chosen.|
