The original deck came off the lower-level of this tri-level home.We built the new deck 3'higher so that the entrance came off the higher level, and installed a new slider where a window was previously.The landing and stairs were a challange as the owner was concerned about the existing retaining wall and was unsure if we could put the landing where we did. The railings are composite w/sets of three aluminum ballusters. I think this deck blended nicely with the existing home and the landscaping
