About This Gallery

We ramped up the date and style of this older kitchen into luxurious family and entertainment accommodations. We converted the old breakfast nook into a chic wet bar, complete with wine cooler and stem storage. The peninsula now works twice as hard with a cooktop allowing the chef to face his guests, and making better use of the storage underneath. The refrigeration is now centralized, flanked with abundant storage and display area. The double oven wall increases cooking and storage volume.

TOO MUCH IN A SMALL SPACE. lost alot of lighting . . . to call the bar chic is a laugh. . . more like an architectural "vomit in mouth". . . this will never be in style . . . NEVER

Too confining. Lost window lighting with that bar, which looks silly. Lot of unnessary expense. Could have just refaced cabinets and added eating counter adjacent to window.

The loss of the rounded window nook takes the outside lighting away from the interior, making it less airy and open. The update looks good considering you did not increase the overall size of the kitchen. With the exception of the wet bar, I could do quite a lot in this kitchen.
