Established in 2001, Steve K. Swenson has a bachelor of science in Landscape Architecture from Texas Tech University. We have been designing commercial and residential landscapes throughout the Dallas area. With over ten years in residential and small commercial design and build experience, Steve Swenson can design your vision. Based in the north Dallas area, the firm has worked with many different types and sizes of projects. Whether it is an elaborate perennial garden or a contemporary minimalist landscape Steve Swenson has the knowledge and experience to fulfill all your needs. Company History: Raised in the Dallas area, Steve received a bachelor of science in Landscape Architecture from Texas Tech University. Steve went from school to work at a design build firm specializing in water features for both commercial and residential landscapes. This opportunity allowed him to expand his knowledge of the construction aspect in the field which has broadened his design abilities. Home Owners: There are two types of home owners who use our services. The do it yourself type who has the capabilities to execute a specific plan, but lacks the knowledge or creativity of a beautiful landscape design. These individuals also may not know the best types of plants for their specific area. The second type of home owner, is the individual wanting to have their landscape professionally installed by a contractor, but wants to get several bids on one landscape design. By using a design service, the home owners can work closely with the designer to come up with a solution for every aspect of their landscape. Since most landscape companies charge for their design this could save the homeowner hundreds of dollars on multiple company designs. Landscape Contractors: Landscape contractors can benefit from our services greatly. Contractors can save money by not having an in house designer, when they are not needed. By only using the designer when you need them you can save by not having a full time employee. Some contractors also have the cliental and the advertisement to get landscape leads, but don't have the graphical ability to present a beautiful comprehensive plan. For most contractors it boils down to not having enough time in the day to sit down and work on a great landscape plan. We know there is always a time crunch, and we try to have designs done within a week or less depending on circumstances.
