The window did not have a window, which was one of the most important things to my dad. We asked Sears for an estimate to see if they would beat the $494 price quoted by Home Depot for the installation of a plain wooden door. I tried to talk my dad into cancelling within the 3-day buyer's remorse period, but he was so ashamed, embarrassed, and frightened that he had let the salesman talk him to such a ridiculous purchase, that he would not do it.
