He and his staff did a wonderful job insullating both floors and the kneewalls in the cellar. Last winter it was so cold up there you couldn't sleep there and now I have the thermostat on 60-62 in my dining room and livingroom and it is so warm up there with the radiators on low just due to the fact the heat from downstairs rises up there. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the scratches to my newly done hardwood floors especially in the room upstairs on the right where they had to cut a hole in the ceiling to access the attic to blow the insullation in. I didn't see how bad/deep the scratches were until a week or so later as I hadn't gone up there for any extended period of time. The real disappointment was that I had given the guys a lot of U-Haul Blankets to use to cover the floors with . Some of the hardwod going into my livingroom was also deeply scratched. I feel really bad that I am writing this review and had not talked to Rob first. I think that there was a lapse of 1-2 weeks between the insullation being blown in and the time that I noticed the damage that I had pondered over calling him to talk about this. So the only thing that I warn prospective customers of is to protect any floors prior to the insullation being blown in. It would be wise to take the time as they are very busy doing what they do best. Rob was the only one of 3 vendors that I obtained estimates for the insullation and he was the only one who continued to call to see if the papers for the sale of the house had gone through and that is why I gave him the work. Rob was very friendly and was willing to explain all the steps of the process. My one issue was with the insulation place in the basement. I think it look like a rushed job that I feel doesn't really provide any added benefit. Overall the rest job was well done.

we seal basement rim joist to stop the infiltration of air into the house. cold air is dense and does not rise unless there is alot of air like this basement had we try and stop the stack effect

Rob is all about customer service. He's fair, reasonably priced, and does an excellent job. He finished up within 3 days (would have been 2 but the weather didn't cooperate); which was what he said it would take. I will be going with him again when we do our addition and finish off one of our rooms. I would recommend him to anyone because (not that it's a prerequisite but) he's just a great guy all around. He knows his stuff and is personable to boot. You will not be disappointed. :-)

Rob showed up on time for the initial review of the job and returned a quote within two days of our meeting. I wanted certain things done and he recommended alternatives that made sense, based on his experience. The quote was fair and with a little back and forth negotiation we settled in on the details of what he was going to provide for the price he quoted. He followed through on every detail and did a great job insulating the attic space in my house. I have since recommended him to family members as someone you can trust. I would hire him again for jobs he advertises experience in.
