Exterior painting project started 08/03/11, and was completed 09/21/11- ultimately was sub-contracted to another service in order to complete project. Some of the painting on the exterior was missed, and we had to care of that ourselves. Communication was not the greatest, and felt constantly pressured for payment before entire project was fully completed. Some Carpentry work had to be re-done, as not to specifications. The project took a total of 7 weeks to complete. After the contract was signed,it was found that this company does an average of 2 exterior house paintings per year, while mostly concentrating on interior work.

As we are very sorry to hear of this, unfortunately exteriors have been very unpredictable with the weather. Our commitment has always been outstanding workmanship so we will not touch a house right before or after it rains to ensure longevity. That delayed this project some. With that said, we ultimately fell short in this customer's expectations and we will be contacting the customer to resolve. We sincerely wish the customer would have conveyed their disappointment to us.

joe hernandez provided good service

I felt like he did kind of a hack job on my kitchen. He didn't strip or sand the doors and trim before painting even though the old pain was thick and chipped in many places causing the new paint job to already appear to have chips in it. He missed one strip of wall completely (it was slightly hidden but still). I had to tell him to remove the door knobs and medalion off the ceiling fan and paint under then b/c he just painted around them. (what if I wanted to change them out). I found many specks of wall color on the trim after he had left. The faucet was kicked or something and was leaking so badly it had to be replaced. It was fine before.

While we acknowledge every customer’s right to publicly complain against a business such as ours, we are frankly shocked by this one. As is our practice with every job we undertake, we took great care to meet or exceed all standards that our industry dictates. Our customer directly supervised every brush stroke as we performed our work, and expressed not one word of dissatisfaction during thethe process. In fact, we performed a few “extras” for this customer, as we often do. As for the faucet that leaked apparently after all the contractors had left, there would be no reason we would be near it. Very professional, detail oriented and friendly. Our particular renovation required a lot of preparation of various surfaces each with a unique set of problems. Joe made several useful suggestions on the prep. work, paint type, quality and texture, as well as, other tips on some simple projects that we could do ourselves.
