Project: Paint or Stain Single Items
Steve did not do a good job on this project. He changed the price mid-way through the project. Then, when the work clearly needed an additional coat of paint, Steve refused to apply it without charging another extra. He did not use drop clothes, even after being asked to. As such, there was paint dripped on the walls, floors, and doors. We also found a box of Steve's trash from the job in our garage after he finished. All around unprofessional.

Project: Install or Replace Weatherstripping
Doors are not his strong point. He came out 3xs and he was not happy the last time he came out. I then called someone else who fixed the door--I was shown where the door was not hung properly and the new person took the doors off and started over.

I bent over backwards for this lady, coming out 2 more times at no charge, she bought these doors online so she had no recourse for their shoddy construction.

Project: Hire a Handyman
Steve Harmington called me at 8:02AM. He was pleasant, available and could invoice us as a large corporation, headquartered in Texas. He had great ideas and was fun, yet very professional at assembling 3 desks for us and positioning a large, heavy, lighted cabinet on a credensa. His honesty was so refreshing as he didn't need to buy height-adjusting credensa legs or repair a drawer which just had scotch tape on t. We will be using Mr. Harmening again at the end of October and perhaps another staff person from his company for a major office move for the dis-assembly and re-assembly of several desks. Steve Harmening is "THE" best!

Project: Hire a Handyman
Steve from Harmonious Home Repair did a fabulous job helping me install chain link along my wood fence to keep my dogs and my neighborhood dogs from fighting. His rates were very reasonable especially since it was a last minute job. He was very polite and did an awesome job. I would highly recommend him to others for work.
