Fred says what he will do and he does what he says. Very dependable and does his work in a timely fashion. He is a worker and finished seven rooms and two and a half baths plus my two car garage and basement stairwell in three and a half days. That was with my moving all the furniture to the middle of the rooms for him and putting everything back in their place. His work is professional, neat and tidy. Fred was worth every penny we paid him.

Fred painted my living and dining rooms and did a really nice job. His work was neat and his price was right. Very personable and obviously experienced. Showed up on time and worked steadily on through the day. I'd go with Fred again for any future painting.

Fred painted my bath and bedroom. He did a great job. His prices were very reasonable. He was very professional, kind, and helpful. He's an excellent painter. I am going to use him for additional projects.

Fred was terrific from the start. He has his phone #'s sent to his cell.If it took a message he called right back. Always on time ,cleaned up,put back stuff. MOST OF ALL EXCELLANT WORK AT A FAIR PRICE.WOULD WITH OUT A DOUBT WILL REHIRE HIM.Left him alone in house,so I lost no work time.

Project: Remove Wallpaper
Wallpaper removal is an “A+”. Quickly worked to fully remove all very old stubborn wallpaper in both rooms. On day one all wall paper was removed and all walls were primed with paint.
Wall prep for painting is a “D”: applied primer coat to all walls, but neglected to fill and sand defects in the walls where wall paper removal left uneven spots.
Painting of walls is a B-: powder room faux work looks very nice, but does not cover the chalk lines left by the previous owner who used them to line up the original wallpaper. I will have to re-paint the powder room to cover those marks after I fill and sand some wall defects. Also in the kitchen area there are wall defects that I will have to fill, sand, re-prime and paint to make the work look more professional.
At one corner where two different wall colors meet, the edge of the corner is not neat. In some spots you can see where the white primer was brushed onto the previously painted wall’s corner edge and not touched up with either the new color on one side or the old color on the other side. I will have to address this or install corner molding to cover up the overlaps.
Overall a “C”, only mildly content: I am very happy to have gotten all of the wallpaper off of the walls, but I am disappointed that more was not done to prep the walls correctly and to ensure that the paint coats in the powder room were sufficient to cover old lines and marks. The ceiling work turned out just fine. I take partial blame for not insisting in fully understanding the plan of attack, as I incorrectly assumed the wall prep included filling and sanding. I will not make that mistake with my next project

Project: Remove Wallpaper
He did a wonderful job. He removed the wallpaper from my son's room, put up a wall mural on one of the walls and then painted the room. He scheduled us within a week after our estimate, too. Plus, he called me to schedule an estimate almost immediately after I submitted the request on this website. The other person we looked at charged much higher rates, and wanted us to wait almost a month to get the work done. Fred did a wonderful job, and his rates are extremely reasonable. I will definitely give him a call in the future if I were to need help with a future project.
