They came out promptly to provide an estimate and were very professional. Their bid came in at the middle of the three bids my condo association requires, so that, combined with superb recommendations from references they provided, persuaded us to proceed. The job was relatively small: replacing the guardrails on six porches. However, First Community was able to get to it quickly, and the results are superb. Our rickety old guardrails held together, in part, with bungee cords (!), have been replaced with solid, heavy duty railings that more than met our expectations. Kudos to FCB! They came out and gave an estimate right away and said they could start the project within the next few days.  This was essential as it was an emergency repair to the porch roof that was collapsing under the weight of ice/snow.  The workmen showed up on time and went straight to work.  Dave and Dave came by during the day to personally check on the progress of the project.  The work was finished on schedule, on budget, and the area was left clean.  Dave Caplan called a few days later to make sure I was happy with the work.  I will definitely use them for any future projects. They did a fairly good job of keeping my place clean during and after the installation.  The skylight has been in place for only one fall and winter period.
