Their estimate was 40% lower than the next-lowest, so I was a bit apprehensive that they might also provide worse service, but my fears were unfounded. They did a great job. They showed up when they said they would, worked steadily and efficiently, and were cheerful and cooperative. I had asked them to remove a monstrous Siberian Elm that was hanging over the yards of two neighbors and had uninsulated power lines running though the branches. They had no problem dismantling the tree and cutting and stacking the larger logs for firewood. The stump grinding also resulted in deep, glorious piles of sawdust that I can use for mulch.

Did a lot for the price quoted; gave good suggestions rather than just doing what I thought I wanted, without trying to sell me more. Cleanup in my yard was very good, but left nice tack of wood in vacant business lot next door. After three or so days, the neighbor came and got the wood for his wood-burning stove.

Dennis came on time to set it up and was very professional. They came on time and cut the tree down without damaging any surrounding items. However, the tree stump removal was a different story. They didn't remove it the day the tree came down because of the rain. They didn't show for the scheduled day on Monday and didn't call. They finally showed on Thursday, but left a huge pile of wood shavings behind. They also wouldn't prune my other tree because of the condition, although Dennis said he would.

Removing stump grind shavings are never a part of grinding the stump unless specifically contracted - sorry about the confusion. As for the other tree, my foreman talked with the client's brother and they decided not to do any pruning of the other tree because it really needs to be removed. Pruning it would be a waste of money.
