Windows Plus

This company was good when the father ran this father/son team but now that father is retired the son does not offer nearly the service and quality offered by the father. Son cut corners, would never call back, and had to be watched to make sure the job got done right. We needed extra parts and he said he could get them and never called back even after we called him about 5 times.

I'm not sure what has upset this homeowner so much. I felt the job went very well. Homeowner seemed very pleased with the work. I don't know what she means by cutting corners. We created an opening for a window were there wasn't one before. We trimmed the new window inside and out, checked operation and received a check for the job. I did attempt to contact Colleen regarding the extra hardware and bid for more work but never received a call back.

The installer was courteous, professional, unobtrusive and very nice to deal with. A real person and genuine.

They did a great job and I would recommend them.

John came for what we both thought would be a 3 hour day, but stuff happens with a 100 year old house. You persevered for over eight hours to get those windows in, and when there was an issue with the locks, you made sure that a company representative came out and fixed the problem.

Process took a long time to complete, they had to reorder windows multiple times. The installation contractor broke 3 windows during installation. Quality of workmanship was very poor. Some windows continue to leak, not sealed properly. not a good experience...

It took 3 months and a threat to initiate collections proceedings (which we have never done)to collect the balance, We, as always, are more than willing to correct any service issues, this customer has not contacted us regarding the "leaks".

I would give him a 95% 1 window does not work right. They go above and beyond. Over all I am satisfied.

An update: We went back until the problem with the one window was solved. It was a manufacturing issue but we took care of it ourselves. Customer is 100% satisfied. Nice people.
