Will see what the value was for my money next winter. Insulated my cold basement from my heated house. Professional, recommended protective windows instead of window replacement -- totally correct for protecting the antiquity of my 1902 Victorian.

I signed up for a whole house assessment for $99. Every person that I spoke with was very nice and helpful. The auditor was in my house for over 4 hours doing the assessment, showing me areas where improvements were needed and letting me play with his "toys". The infra-red camera could see lots of areas where air leaks were occurring. The written report I received a few days later was okay, but not spectacular by any means. Most of the report is very general, and is probably given to most homeowners. After giving you the report, they will try to sell you their recommendations. I did not sign up for them, as they were very over priced.
