They were not the lowest bid, but they were the most experienced. BIll really knows his stuff when it comes to creative ways to attach stone or brick. I had brick facing on my concrete steps going to the front of my house. But the previous contractor put them on without any ties or backing. So over a few years, they fell off. Other companies proposed various ways of keeping them in place, but Bill from Vintage Stoneworks proposed the most bulletproof solution. The finished product looks great and I know it will last!

Bill was very skilled and completed all the work he committed to on time and under budget. I has him complete to small repairs to a small wall we have and while he was there we talked about some other repairs I needed. He prepared a quote on the spot and scheduled the extra work a few days later. All the work was done very well and very professionally. I would highly recommend Vintage Stoneworks for any brick or exterior repair work. They are top notch!

He was very helpful in the work with stone, ironwork, wood, and landscaping. He pointed out some things I hadn't noticed. He has great skills in most house areas and kept me up to date on what they did and what was next to be done. He was accurate in price projections and paperwork. No surprises!! you can't go wrong with Bill and his professional crew. His work is first rate. He has very high standards. I felt he treated my house as if it was his own.

Bill was super knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining the required work and the expected end result...we were very satisfied and will gladly hire him for other projects around our house...we are looking forward to working with him more in the future...

Project: Brick or Stone Tuck-Pointing
I worked with Bill who is a master mason. He really transformed the front steps of my house and regraded the yard to give it a much improved balance and water run-off. He also tuck-pointed my house and matched the work to the existing 1930s masonry very well. Only complaints are that my project, being smaller than his others, got fit in around the bigger jobs and thus dragged on several weeks longer than I would have liked. Additionally, the project came in well over what I was expecting, as we didn't discuss the cost of additional touches to the project (which I thought were included in the estimate.)
