Project: Install a Retaining Wall
The retaining wall is absolutely beautiful. HOWEVER - The builder committed to a complete job for a designated price to include building the wall, adding vent wells, rerouting a downspout, and backfilling with dirt. Before completion of the project, he ran out of dirt and to finish the job would require additional cost to be passed on to me. I refused to pay more than the quoted price, so the wall was only 2/3 full. The downspout was cut off at the top of the wall & left that way-he stated he didn't know how to reroute it. No vent wells were installed b/c he couldn't find any. Then he tried to charge me more than the agreed upon price.
