Project: Install or Replace an Asphalt Shingle Roof
I chose this contractor because he was the only one who went up on the roof and went inside of the attic and looked at it. And gave me an evaluation that I really liked. I had people come out and measure it, and give me a number, and that number was very high. That happened twice, and then I had a guy come in with the low-ball, and he did not even attack the problem that we had. And that's why I chose him and I'm very happy with the guy who came.

They did an excellent job in replacing my roof, perfect communication, good price.
I would recommend them to everybody.
The only minor thing that I would like them to improve on, is cleaning after the work is done, I found some depries around the yard after they were gone (Nails, Staples, Peices of Shingles)

They were great to work with, very honest, helpful and professional.
We had a few issues with the starting date, but it was all weather related, so I was okay with that.
They had the whole job done in 2 days, and it looks awesome, great warranty.
I have a friend that does gutters, so I gave my friend the gutter portion of the job, and they worked get together.
The yard is cleaner after they were done, then before they started.
I would not have a problem recomending them to anyone I know. Sincerely, John B

Their work is professional. I am happy what they have done. They came on time and finished in time too.
Only one thing i am not happy is they got our 30% prepayment to start the project in May, it was almost $2000 dollars. They started the project in the middle of July. I understand they were busy at that time, it was okay to start the project in July. What I am not happy is after they got the prepayment, we did not hear from them at all until we called them later June. What I suggest is they should contact customer to tell when the project will start and if late, why. Some explanation to make customer feel comfortable.

I was helping my mom in Milwaukee set-up an estimate and roofing job; I live in Ely MN. The folks at Tuff Shield were prompt and affordable. There were a couple minor issues for my mom, but nothing major (she's very picky about stuff). Overall, very nice job, prompt and professional service, at a very reasonable rate.

I had an excellent experience with using Tuff Shield. I needed a rush job because my roof was leaking and they got me in very quickly even though they were already pretty booked up. The guys worked really hard, were quick, professional & did an excellent clean up job, which I really appreciated because I have a dog!!! I would recommend them to anyone who's looking to get quality work done professionally & economically.
I had a couple small concerns and when Luke (the owner) came by to pick up the final payment he took care of them immediately while he was there which I really thought was great!! They could be a little better in communicating with you about when things are happening and whatnot but given the fact they were squeezing me in I'm sure that had a lot to do with it. I would like to add that even though they didn't call me, when I had a question and I called I could get a hold of Luke right away, no answering machine or calling back and forth. I'm planning in the future to have my house sided and they also do that and I'd definitely look at hiring them again!!!
