In the Chicago area, True Blue Home Inspections, Inc., is your trusted choice for residential energy audits. We use an infrared camera and CO monitoring at all levels of inspection. We offer a wide range of audit services, depending on your needs. BPI Protocol Audits are available for larger projects and for government credit qualifications. $500-$600 The True Blue Standard Audit provides a detailed list of suggested upgrades and complete cost/savings estimates. $350-$450 The Home TuneUp Audit provides a broad list of repairs/upgrades and some cost/savings estimates. $250-$350 The Energy Triage is for clients who need just a general overview of their energy situation, or to examine one specific problem area or system. $150 We carry a full battery of diagnostic tools to conduct the most comprehensive testing available: digital BPI reports, natural gas sniffer, digital photos, infrared report w/photos w/captions, blower door report, CO gas detector, infrared thermometer.

Jim contacted me quickly after I placed a request on ServiceMagic. He explained in detail (by email) what his services entailed, what my options were and what the best choice for me would be (and this was not the most expensive option). He arrived promptly and was friendly and professional. I recieved his report the following day. I would definitely recommend him!

Mr. Clark was one of the most professional and pleasant contractors I have dealt with. Having gone through extensive work in my home over the past 3 years and dealing with many contractors, I was totally impressed with his communication, professionalism and thoroughness. His recommendations were not based on selling more products for him or any other specific contractor. He did not recommend specific contractors. He made himself available for future questions following a thorough written report that he delivered promptly after the inspection. I appreciate his quality of work and being here when he promised. Hire him if you want the best.

Jim did an excellent job of going through my house and allowing me to look over his shoulder. His advise was sound. I appreciated the quality of time he spent going through everything.
