decent enough work & very professional abatement report, but many hidden costs and lab fees which were not made explicit. I'd suggest if using this firm you get a very clear understanding of how many tests will be conducted and what the attendant lab fees will be. base proposal amount for our job was $250, with lab fees etc. came to $1380, over five fold increase.

All of our inspection quotes have set fees, in this case it was $250 to conduct the inspection plus a set price for each analysis conducted by the laboratory. We must make it perfectly clear that we have no control of how many materials are in a structure that requires sampling. We also want to express that we conduct our sampling (amount of samples per material) as directed and agreed upon prior to sampling, however, we cannot omit materials when hired to conduct a full building inspection such as this one. It was unfortunate for the client that there was a number of suspect materials on this project, of which is beyond our control.
