Charles Ellis of Tozai Architecture Interiors is an architect with projects in the Cincinnati,  Indianapolis and its surrounding areas. Our core associates: Charles Ellis (513.961.9200) is a registered architect in Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky residing in Cincinnati, OH and currently is a part time teacher in the Interior Design Department at the Art Institute of Ohio.  He is a step father of a grown son and daughter, a grandfather, father of two teenaged daughters and a martial artist with black belts in judo, jujutsu and aikido.  He has an art studio at the Pendleton Arts Center in Cincinnati, OH where he pursues his artwork and has past experiences as a carpenter, general contractor and stained glass artist which assists in his grounded yet whimsical approach to his work.   Ben Harris (765.628.0145) is a designer and draftsman located in Greentown, IN and has worked with Charles Ellis for 20 years.  He has raised three sons and is a grandfather as well as being a devoted husband.  He is a skilled guitar player and plays every Sunday for his Church.  Ben’s past experience as a carpenter and a builder contributes to his ability solve design problems in a practical way.   Miles Smith (317.255.1065) is formally educated as an Industrial Designer and is located in Indianapolis, IN and has worked with Charles Ellis for 10 years.  He is a father of a son starting his freshman year in college and is a devoted husband.  Miles’s passion is golf and he plays as time and the central Indiana weather permits.  He has many years of experience as an Interior Designer, Museum Designer and Trade Show Designer which contributes to his ability to render a design solution of impeccable taste.
