Thoro clene had a challenge with 3 very old oriental rugs that hadn't been professionally cleaned in at least 30 years. I think they did the best they could with what they had to work with. They came out a bit streaky but I suspect that the age of the rugs contributed to that. I was told they had to reclean them 3 times because of all the dirt and sand that was in them. I would use thoro clene again.
