Tom was very prompt in coming to my home and seeing what i was interested in doing. He was very professional and informative and had very good ideas. Unfortunately, the project is more than I anticipated and more money than I want to put into my home before I sell it in year or two.

We have an old house that had carpet covering the Cherry Steps for 50 years. They were pretty rough, needed stripping, and the balusters needed replacing. Tom came in, knew exactly what would be needed, suggested some improvements, knew where to get the materials. He took a week longer, and went 10% over budget, but when we saw the result, we knew it was worth it. 18 months later, we still get compliments from people who see his handy work.

We hired Tom to build and install a stair railing (newel post, balusters and railing) for us. He did an excellent job. He did a great job educating us on the process and making sure we were involved in all of the decisions. He was very punctual and his estimates (cost and time) were accurate. Tom is incredibly thorough and detail oriented in his work. I would recommend Tom to anyone that has a stair related project.

took 7 1/2 days to partially complete a 2-3 day job. skill set to complete project not there. Asked the cusomer what he did for a living? Caused me, the contractor, $1000 out of pocket costs for delays and railing parts that were miscut or replaced due to incompetent workmanship.

I gave this contractor 2 options to solve a problem at bottom of stairs.the bottom 3 steps needed rebuilt wider to center rail on end wall and reframe a closet door narrower to accomplish this. cotractor had not anticipated this in his bid.told me to go ahead and do best i could . rail still would not center on wall. he still received 7 feet upstairs bannister, newel and balusters with 9feet of wall rail.when told that the bottom section 3 feet hand rail, newel and balusters was unacceptable i said that i was done.His unwilllingness to listen cost him money and time.My mistake for agreeing to do the job inspite of the sob story.

Professional, on-time service. His work was well-done and he was able to complete the job and clean-up in the time promised at a very fair rate. I will definitely contact him again in the future and refer his work to friends and family.

Tom did an excellent job in building our new stair banisters. He is very professional, punctual and truly a perfectionist. He has an eye for detail and assisted us with our stair design. His work is thoroughly thought out and the finished product is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. We couldn't have chosen a better person for this project and we recommend him 100% .
