Our 80+ year-old floors turned out great. We had some water stains by the french doors that did not come out fully but compared to what they looked like before, we are very happy with the results.

Went with WoodDoctor due to comfort/experience with water-based Bona Traffic product. Their process successfully removed 15yrs of scratches/gouges, and the Satin finish of the Bona is lighter and clearly different enough from the old, glossy yellowed mineral based Glitsa that the effect is obvious and welcome. Looks fantastic. Expect some dust despite vacuum sander and visqueen and you will have to repaint the baseboards. With Bona, you can walk on it, in socks, each night between steps of the 4 day process & man what a difference. We love the results and can easily recommend WD LLC

After down payment was made I was shocked to find out that owners contracted the job. Additionally contractor didn't arrive at scheduled time, didn't speak english, nor communicate when job done. Poor taping job caused some of the top coat to "glue" carpet edge to floor. Crew of three spent less than two hours total. Insisted that owner view results. He said results were "normal" and agreed the taping process needs to be corrected. Offered $100 credit for the trouble to free the carpet edge. Had I known up front that owner used contractor, I woul not have awarded them the job. They are not real responsive to returning phone calls.

We tried very hard to please this customer. We offered him both our floor services. The complete sanding and refinishing or the less expensive screen and coat process he chose the less expensive route. The job was done correctly for the services that he paid for, the floor looked great. The tape was normal sticking on the carper I was able to remove it with out any trouble. I believe that the owners biggest problem was that our crew was not fluid in the English language.

Steven gave me what I need in terms of time and application to refinish my hardwoods. The major difference between another contractor and what the Wood Doctor offered what the element of time. The water based application avoided additional costs of staying in a hotel. Thanks Stephen!

Project: Repair or Partially Replace Wood Flooring
we had water damage on our hardwood floor. Intially Steve though it would take 4 hours to finish but it actually took him 8 hours as he needed to sand the floor by hand. I appreicate he finished the job even though it was more difficult that what initally thought. And the price is very reasonable. Thank you, P.A.
