Project: Install Ceramic or Porcelain Tile
David was the lowest bid, and based on the reviews seen here I thought it was safe to go with the lowest bidder. Unfortunately, I feel like David got a little behind on the job, and then he ended up rushing too much to do a quality job. There are several areas that I now have to go back and fix. To David's credit he did offer to come fix the items, but we decided that it would be best to instead adjust the price paid to him and I would hire someone to complete the job. Perhaps it was a fluke and he is very good as other reviews have experienced, but unfortunately for my wife and myself David's work was not acceptable.

Project: Install Natural Stone Tile
Dave did a great job. He has completed the 1st step of the tile install and will be completing the project tomorrow morning. Tile needs to set overnight before grouting. So far everything is neat and and nicely mounted. What impressed me the most and how far he will to travel to do the work. I live on the Southside of Chicago about 5 minutes outside of Hyde Park and he was here on time and work has been efficient. so far so good.

David (The Tile Man) was professional and courteous. He did a great job for a reasonable price. This was my first time getting tile put in and I couldn’t be more pleased. I will definitely go to him again for any future tile projects.

An excellent job! I will definitely use David again. He was very reliable, quickly responded to my texts, cleaned up at the end of the day, and carefully completed the work. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Did very high quality work. Was neat and professional. Only minor issue was regarding work schedule in that he arrived rather late on the first day. Still overall he did a very good job and was considerably less expensive than other quotes received from Service Magic contractors.

David was courteous, professional, and most importantly did a great job. He worked well beyond "union hours" to lay all the tile the first day so he could finish grouting the second day. When he left, there wasn't so much as a spot of mess. Fantastic.
