Michael has been in the plastering business for over 25 years, working for several plastering companies in the Metroplex. After 15 years with one employer, the company got sold out. At that time, he decided that it was time to go out on his own, doing stucco and EIFS repair like with his previous employer. One thing that I've noticed since I've been with service magic, is that sometimes people will confuse inside plaster with tape and bed mud and texture over sheetrock with old fashioned plaster with gyp mud over metal lath or wood lath. If it's regular texture over sheetrock, then I'm probably not the guy you want to contact for your repairs. After 5 years in business as an owner/operator, my prices are fair and competitive since I don't have all the over-head of big contractors. Michael was quick to respond to my request for quote and scheduled me in quickly as well for EIFS and stucco crack repair. He worked hard all day and did a great job. I'm anxious to see how it will hold up to the elements but since i just had it repaired only time will tell. He left the area clean and I felt went above and beyond in areas where perhaps others wouldn't. Michael strikes me as a honest hardworking individual that takes pride in what he does.

I would not recommend for repairing interior plaster walls in an old home. The repair was finished on time and on budget, but the workmanship isn't very good. I expected more from a professional and he left the place a mess.

Husband must not have told his wife that he wanted me to leave the plastic in place so he could paint the repair after it was cured, he understood that his house was 100 years old and several other repairs were done before mine, I did ask him what texture he wanted me to match, wifes can sometimes be very picky!

Michael was prompt, had all the materials and tools, and repaired the exterior wall relatively quickly. If I had not carried on conversation, he probably would have finished within 30-45 minutes. The piece was about 10-12 feet long. I've have him back soon for more repair on a piece not needing immediate attention.
