The Pool Specialist, LLC

We just moved to the area and we found The Pool Specialists through Service Magic. The ratings were VERY good and I will only add to their AWESOME performance. Matt, the pool technician, was extremely helpful and courteous and explained what he was doing in every day terms so that I could understand (we were having our pool winterized). We have never owned a pool before so I was a little leary on how to do things and he was very helpful!! He called ahead of time to make sure the time was OK for me and arrived as he promised. I feel the value for the service was a 10 out of 10. I will be using these folks for future pool projects!!!

The worker from Pool Specialist was courteous and knowlegable. My pool and property was always left clean and neat. I intend to use The Pool Specialist again.

I used their service for nearly a season. They were professional and dependable at first but the quality of the work lessened as time passed. I called them for an emergency issue with my pool this spring but did not receive a call back.

Although we try to return all phone messages in a timely matter, we are human and might have missed a message from this former customer. Although unlikely to do this, we do get extremely busy in the springtime, and might have missed this one.

I was very satisfied with the service.

They were over a month late from when they said initally that it would be installed,then it had a wrinkle in one corner,acted like nothing could be done about,had wrinkles in the floor also,and said for another $300,he would have to empty and try to flatten out.A leak began immediately also, they called a leak detection company and sent me the bill for that, said it wasn't they're fault.

As the owner of the company I would like to address this customer's issues. The type of pool they had, the manufacturer of the liner requested us to remeasure at two different time to get a good fit. The pool had an underlying problem with ground water, and after a heavy rain the pool floated, which was beyond our control. The leak detection was an outside source that found a leak in their plumbing, not the liner that we installed. We had made an agreement with the customer that if it were our problem we would have paid for the leak detection, it was not. We do strive to perfection.

Did not finish work which was contracted for. We ended up having to contact another pool company to finish the work not completed by this company. Waited an extra 2 months for the work to be completed by The Pool Specialist before calling someone else. The Pool Specialist would say the work will be completed during the week sometime, but would not show up or call with a reason for no show or to reschedule. Slow to complete the work that was completed and all the work completed by this company ranged from good to poor workmanship. Would not recommend this company

During the early spring season, yes we did fall behind schedule due to our growth. We did take this customer's comments to heart and feel that we have changed our policies to help keep this from happening again.

Don has worked well with us and the changes that we needed to make concerning our pool lay-out. He is very professional and always on time for meetings. Good job!
