Pete is fast, careful, neat and efficient. His prices are reasonable; he is not the cheapest handyman, but he is worth what he charges. I've also worked with one of his employees on another group of small projects, and he was just as good. He's become my go to handyman. Highly recommended.

Prompt response; quick to give me a quote;sent less experienced workers but they did a pretty good job. I found the pricing to be very high, but the job got done quickly, and for the most part, very well, and that is what was important.

Please note our worker Dave has over 15 years experience, and the tasks on this particular job were made extra difficult due to the age and poor condition of the house. The wall paper on the walls were literally disintegrating, and any attempt at patching or painting caused the sub layers to MELT off the walls. We did our best to put Humpty Dumpty back together again though. We're sorry this customer thought we were priced a little high. We always do our best to price fair, but remember, high quality and excellent customer service means we can't always be the cheapest! As the old adage says, "You get what you pay for!"

I requested handyman referrals from Servicemagic on a Sunday. The owner of The Home Hero contaced me only hours later, and we agreed that someone would arrive at my home the next morning to make the repairs. The work to be done included patching and painting and reinstalling a shower rod that was sagging. I was completely satisfied with the work that was done and appreciative of the fact that the handyman voluntarily removed his boots and cleaned up debris from the workspace. I would absolutely call on The Home Hero again.
