Review by Juan D.in Ypsilanti, MI Project: Clean & Seal Grout or Tile
Project required a second visit due to some missed cleaning in some areas. In the end, we were very satisfied w/the final work. Customer service was outstanding in getting me fully satisfied.

Review by a customerin Ann Arbor, MI Project: Replace or Repair Grout
The grout was neatly replaced in the wall area around my tub. But, the new grout color doesn't match the grout in the rest of the bathroom tile. Before accepting Grout Medic's proposal, I asked about grout color & was told the new grout might look slightly different, but only on close inspection. The new grout is a glaringly bright white — the old isn't. When I noted this after the job's completion, Grout Medic insisted the color was correct but the old grout was discolored from age, and besides, I hadn't asked them to clean that grout (they hadn't suggested that before). They should have been forthright about the likelihood of mismatch.
Comment from The Grout Medic
This job entailed the removal of all grout and the regrouting of the shower surround walls. The grout color was determined to be bright white by lightly etching the grout on the walls by the estimator and technician. No other grouted areas in the bathroom were requested to be cleaned or regrouted, so yes there is a color difference between the old floors and the new walls. It is not our policy to estimate work not requested unless we determine attention is needed to an area. Our estimate and hand out sheet notify the customer of the difficulty of color matching grout. Even if cleaned the old grout may still not be as brilliant as the new.

The work was completed B4 I received the quote
Comment from The Grout Medic
Although I appreciate the rating the write up is confusing. All customers receive a free estimate or quote from one of our estimators. The customer would then have to call the office to schedule an appointment to have the work performed. The estimate would then be assigned to a technician as a work order and billing statement. The technician should have walked through the work order with the customer and obtained a signature authorizing the work, if the customer was present. It is not our policy to perform any work without an authorized work order and I apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding.
