Review by a customerin Bellevue, WA Project: Analyze a Structural Issue (Structural Engineer)
The Fossatti's quality of job is OK. I did not get chance to get another one to come to do the same job. But its business practice is not good. Before they came to my house, they told me that they already talked to the insurance company and got everything approved and they said they had lots of expereience of handling this type of claim. Under this impression, I agreed they came to my house and od the assessment. They did the job, left and I never got any thing, any report from them. Then came to me a bill that they did not get paid from the insurance company and I need to pay them NOW. It sucks that they trapped me for this project..

Used the Fossatti Group to evaluate the structural conditions for a kitchen remodel, including locating the load-bearing walls, identifying walls that could be altered, and diagnosing an issue with cracked drywall ceilings. The engineer visited the site, looked at the schematics we had from when the house was built, and followed up with a report that answered all of our questions.

Engineer came to house to do an analysis of settling. Was on time, clearly described his process, asked pertinent questions about settling.
Project was to analyse settling and determine if additional support would be required under the foundation. Engineer determined at the time of inspection that the foundation appeard stable at this time and no additional support would be required.
I was overall satisfied with the Engineer and the results.

Steve was very helpful and worked hard while on site to identify the underlying cause of our concerns; which fortunately turned out to be good news.

Still in the permit process, however I found he knew his "stuff" very well and performed a thorough exam of the project before he quoted and drew plans. A little slow in returning information, but with phone call reminder or an email, I find he responds. Probably works much faster with a larger project.
