Terry was a breath of fresh air, especially on price. He was very reasonable and easy to deal with. The other estimate I got for an entry door and storm door installed was $3650.  With Terry it was $1100, much more in line with my needs and finances. <br />He came promptly and measured the door and discussed the options. His charges were $535 to install the entry door and storm door and do a a "build down" of the top of the frame to fit standard size doors and save the wait and expense of a custom-size door -- very important since my old door was almost non-functional due to an attempted break-in. (This is essentially what Home Depot charges if you line up the installer through them.) He gave me the measurements and said to pick out suitable doors and hardware from Home Depot or wherever, which they would hold for him to pick up. <br />My only reservation was that the work was a little sloppy. He didn't use a drop cloth over the hardwood floor, which got some spackling and metal chips almost embedded in it. There were a few minor gouges or dents on the door and frame by the time he finished, and the door was not level on first attempt. However he cheerfully corrected that. <br />The best thing was he did the job very promptly -- just a few days after I called back and said I wanted him to do it. The expensive contractor would have taken two months. <br />So, if you want a door done promptly and competently at a reasonable price, and don't mind buying the door yourself through a store, and don't want to feel ripped-off, I would recommend Terry Hunt. <br />
