Rating: Project: Central A/C - Service or Repair The service man was polite with a quick response time and made me comfortable.  The first service was on 10/08/09 because the unit didn't blow cold air.  The service man pumped 5lbs… Read Complete Rating The service man was polite with a quick response time and made me comfortable.  The first service was on 10/08/09 because the unit didn't blow cold air.  The service man pumped 5lbs of freon costing $160 and I was told that the $40 service call was waived.  By 10/15 the freon had leaked out and the same service man came to check both the unit on the roof and air handler for leaks which should have been done originally.  I was than quoted $2642 to replace the air handler.  My neighbor had their done 1 year ago for $1600.  I hope to be compensated some of my money back.   Way over priced and will not recommend. He was courteous and efficient in his analysis of the problem which he fixed… Read Complete Rating The technician arrived a couple of hours after my initial call which was even earlier than they had estimated. He was courteous and efficient in his analysis of the problem which he fixed immediately (an apparently unusual case of wiring which had worked its way loose) and pointed out another issue which was likely to become a problem if ignored. I decided to go ahead and get that fixed so as to hopefully avoid having to call them out again. The cost of the visit itself seemed very reasonable but of course the costs mounted up somewhat with the parts which I decided to have replaced.
