Project: Hire a Handyman
Installation of the two bathroom faucets took a little longer than anticipated but was completed without incident. Only concern was that the worker did not dispose of old faucets and misc. items that were replaced.

The handyman spent alot of time on the phone while at my house. He was not sure how to proceed with my task but finally completed the task. He was nice and courteous.

He did a good job on the work, but I felt misled a bit because he did alot of talking with me about things and I ended up being charged for some of that time. He had another guy with him that he was paying so while we were talking I was basically being charged per hour on the other guy also...In the end, I think his work was good, but I just felt misled and wouldn't use him again.

Project: Hire a Handyman
Sam and his assistant did a great job with my projects. Got them finished within the time he estimated. My only slight criticism is that he was not able to show up at the appointed time, but he did call to let me know. I would hire Sam again.

Project: Install Interior Trim and Decorative Moldings
Mr Sullivan did a marvelous job in restoring badly attached window woodwork, and making a difficult curved piece to fit the base of the fireplace wall--the window trim looks great. But his assistant, who attached the short curved piece, was careless of details. He used very dark filler on a light wall, left space between the floor and the bottom of the woodwork that I tried to fill in , andnails showing at the rough edges. I am still working on trying to finish it to look professional. I should have checked it carefully before they left, or Mr Sullivan should have--he would surtely have seen the detail.
