He proceeded to go to his car (office on wheels) and produced an estimate of the project step by step. He also had a brochure of his company. I agreed on the estimate and he produced a contract. Since I live in North Carolina I gave him the keys to the house and he said he would keep in touch and keep me updated on the progress. Every couple of days I received pictures on my cell phone showing what he did and had completed. He didn't ask for money up front just when he completed a step of the project.
