Steve Bruno was a professional in all sense of the word. He was on time and never left me any doubts, from the first time he arrived at my house. He was a gentleman and knew exactly what was in question. Our initial conversation started with what needed to get done with the crown molding in the house and without any awareness we were talking about other subjects in life, as if we new each other for years. Absolutely positive assessment of Steven Bruno Inc: * Great work. Professional and fully skilled to do any job as a full or parttime contractor according to project. * They are based on decades and decades of experience and expertise. * Provides a reasonable, economical estimate compared to numerous bidders. * If any unexpected problem arises (Ie: found mold behind the bathroom tiles), he provided a solution and fixed it with a non back breaking budget. * On time and dependable, calls us if there is a delay and 'check-in' with us by emails. * Always clean and tidy. WE will call Steven Bruno Inc back in the Spring.

Project: Install or Replace Interior Doors
Steve was on time, diligent, repectful of our home and he dealt with unforseen issues without any complaints. He finished well inside of his estimated time frame and explained any "need to know" items such as adjusting the closing speed of the door. He left a little debris behind but nothing near as bad as other contractors i have had. I will have to put a few nais in the trim around the attic door but thats no big deal. Recommend him highly.

Project: Repair Carpentry Framing
Steve is a friendly and knowledgable guy, but I get the impression he may be stretched a bit thin right now. It took a while to get the work scheduled, and at least once he got confused on the dates. On the other hand, he did the job quickly (once here) and professionally, and with a minimum of mess. The wall did leak a little in the worst of the post-Irene flooding, but that's no surprise, and we had discussed changes that should be made to reduce that in the future. The price was fair, but I don't think exceptional.

Steve has been great to work with. His estimate was in line with other contractors, and the work has been very good. He has kept the job site (our home) very clean. He arrives on time and finished our project on time as well. After he was finished with our project for our ice dam damage I have hired him to do additional work as well.
