Welcome to Stair Builders. Our designers and builders have over 30 years of experience working with your neighbors. We service all of Nassau & Suffolk Counties. We will visit your home at no charge. We custom build our circular, Split-level, & the rest of our stairs locally to fit your home! We've been providing the highest quality wood stairs and railings throughout Long Island for over 30 years. Originally located in Island Park, we moved to a large modern facility in Hempstead in May of 2004. We now have the space and equipment to efficiently produce any type of stair and railing system. I'm Paul Gabriele; I have 25 years of experience in various successful business ventures. I took over the operations of Stair Builders, Inc. in 2000. My partner is Joseph Fiore; he grew up in the industry. Joe is a third generation stair builder and has been active in this market for over 26 years. Needless to say there isn’t any kind of stair or railing that we haven't built or installed. Combined with our local shop workers, we can provide you with the highest quality stairs with exceptional customer service! We look forward to making your home even more beautiful.

The stairs were installed fast, but the holes in the slab were the old stairs were, have been left unfilled. I was let believe that they will take care of it. The rail was attached to the wall with new brackets but the screws are too long and go through the rail. Since the screws are under the rail you don't see them but you fill the splinters... To install the stairs the dropped ceiling was disturbed and when I asked them to put it back together I was told that it's not their job to handle the ceiling.... The general impression about the job was "superficial ',

Excellent work by caring employees. This is how a company should act with its customers. I had contacted 2 other companies and they wanted 3 to 4 times the amount of money I paid for the same product.

Paul is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We followed his recommendation and are very pleased with the quality of the stairway that he built and installed for us, as well the rapid completion of the project. We had contacted several contractors previously who said the job could not be done because of limited access to the area. As a final bonus, Paul did the job for about half of what other contractors said it would cost.
