No big sales push, but a friendly and responsive discussion. Good value on installation. Scheduling was convenient and quick. Installer was quick to work, flexible, and a pleasure to have in the home. He was also quick to respond to some simple questions after the installation. I won't know about Guardian for a while, but my experience with Spectracom has been very positive.

The person on the phone said what she had to say to get someone into my home. The gentleman who came to evaluate the system (Dan Dougherty) and the installers (Jim and Mark) were all very professional and had great customer service. I did feel that the start of the experience was poor but it ended well. I would recommend Spectra Com but I would have them contact Dan directly and would skip the possibility of lies from the main office.

We decide to have security system installed to our house right after we have had broken in. They were the one who responded most immediately. They had not only enough knowledge to answer every single question we asked but also sincere compassion to our situation. Throughout the course, from initial call, then at home counseling (To our surprise, most of the companies didn’t even offer. It made me feel skeptical about offering price and the system itself.) and at last to the actual installation, we are so satisfied with the quality of their product, system and service. I strongly recommend this company. Thank you Pat, Bob and Andrew. We feel safe again.

Sales Person Over-Promised. When the installer came in a week later, the truth came out. If it were not for ERIC at SpectraCom who told his employees that whatever you do, you need to make it work, I would have been paying for monitoring on a security system that is not functional. Thanks Eric for your help. It took 2 visits & 2 weeks but the system is finally working. The 3 Stars and the Non Recommendation is because the sales person told me that the system when put in CHIME mode, will identify which door or window opens (Front Door, Garage Door, etc..) but it looks like the installer never programmed the Zones so all it does is chime :-(
