Project: Paint, Varnish or Stain Interior Surfaces
Southern Contractors did a very good job of painting our living room , dining room and kitchen areas. All three rooms have very high ceilings which required more than the usual acrobatics to complete. The final product looks good, and they left the house in good condition on completion of the job. Even though the initial estimate of how much paint would be needed, and how long it would take was a little off - they did buy the extra paint at their expense and come back a fourth day in order to finish the job to our expectations.

Project: Build an Addition
Honest, hard-working, flexible owner. Do all their own work. They didn't get upset or gouge us on change orders. We just had to pay the difference in materials. Our addition is just what we wanted. We would recommend them to anyone.

Project: Hire a Handyman
My son actually lives in the house in questioin and was very pleased that the contractor showed up exactly when he said he would as he sleeps during the day and could plan around the work. The quality of the work was fine and I was pleased with the price. The contractor also advised us on another project we may need in the future and quoted a reasonable price on the work.

Project: Clean and Seal Decks, Fences, Patios, Drives, or Porches
Shawn Peralta more than met all of my expectations. He kept every commitment he made from the visit to my home to view the work to be done; to providing the estimate; to keeping to the actual estimate. Further, he performed the work sooner than he had quoted - his original quote to do the work was fine with me but a very pleasant experience to have something happen sooner than anticipated. With so many vendors, it is quite the opposite. The work is impeccable and I'd highly recommend Shawn and Southern Contractors for any project to be done which is within their company scope.

we had a little trouble in the beginning, I called Shawn and he came back out and fixed the problem. I have learned that contractors have to deal with ocd women like me...lord bless them! He did a great job and his wife was very sweet! I would have him to do more work if he could put up with me again!!!! GREAT JOB!!!!

We went into this job to fix what the homeowners did themselves,using the exact color that they chose to cover many wall imperfections on wallpaper of a mobile home.We completed extra tasks for no charge and even paid for a neutral color of paint at their request,all because she didn't like the color she chose.

This job consisted of hanging multiple window blinds, doing some rewiring behind a finished wall, installing a flat screen t.v. on the wall,installing a large drywall patch and repainting.

Project: Repair or Partially Replace a Wood Fence
I hired Shawn & Southern Contractors to do two completely different jobs...repairing drywall damaged by a water leak and replacing wooden fence posts, repairing gates, etc. Both were done perfectly. The work was done promptly, correctly and very reasonably. The job site was left perfectly clean. I will use this contractor again and have already recommened them to others.

Project: Repair a Deck or Porch
Shawn had to fight a battle with the inclement weather trying to complete the deck project but attained the final goal while exhibiting great skills! The entire Deck and Walkways look great. Now I know, with great confidence, who will be doing my next project!
