Project: Repair Cabinets
Nick is very knowledgeable and provides advice on how to repair items to make them stronger and last longer. The cabinet restaining took a longer time than anticipated with mixed results.

The cabinets needed more work that anticipated to restore the finish with the light stain choosen. Cabinet door and drewer hardware need a lot of work to align and we replaced much of them, we communicated about drying times for pigmented colored stain. We feel the extra day was due to the stain was not dry.

Southbridge was amazing. They were prompt with their free estimate, their formal proposal, and scheduling the project. They showed up on time and the job was flawless. We are planning on using Southbridge for future projects.

Project: Repair Wood Stairs and Railings
I was given quote from 3 different company to fix a staircase where one side is pulling away from the wall. Southbridge gave us a quote that is competitive although not the cheapest. However, Nick gave me the impression that his solution was the best and I am glad I chose his company. After the repair, the stair is solid as a rock.

Project: Repair or Partially Replace a Wood Fence
Southbridge was great except (thorough, knowledgeable, completed projected in reasonable time)for the follow-up after the project was completed. I am awaiting an appointment to complete the final staining of my deck and fence. A bit more communication for the final stage of the project would have given them a 5.

Project: Install or Replace Window Glass
One two occasions, had to ask about the status of an installation date. to learn supplies did not arrive. Slight communication improvement needed between customer, vender and installers. Nick was great responding to my inquiries and the installers were professionals with enough of a work crew to get the job done in the shortest amount of time. Most important, they were on time.

Southbridge did an amazing job with removing the rot in our bathroom and installing new drywall and flooring. We appreciated their professionalism in getting the job done. We highly recommend Southbridge to others.

Project: Repair Damage from Dry-rot, Water or Pests
Communication: 5 Scheduling: 3 (some weather was involved, but it took 5 different schedulings to get them out here. Including one where I moved my job to help another client (which unknowingly delayed them coming out by 2 weeks). Work: 5 These guys do great work Preparedness: 3 (Although they did great work, they came over and had to borrow 3 garbage bags, my ladder, and had to scour my basement for some glue. The workers told me they knew nothing about repairing the floor. Nick (who did the quote) took pictures of everything so it was poor communication on their side. I wanted to give a 5, but can't do to the reasons above.

We did have issues and we do take this very seriously. In fact we offered to refund their deposit. The floor work was only to be evaluated for a repair cost. We made the floor repairs on us to make up for their patience.

The price was very competitive, but did not show up when they said they would on more than one occassion.
