really professional approach from the first contact. Their proposal included references, and insurance, plus a detailed description of the job. The crews arrived on time, and the work was spectacular, I am a Interior Designer and have seen some real crap out there, this project is for my own house, I am very pleased. I Never hire a company for my clients, if I have not seen the quality of their work. I am very pleased, this was a difficult job, 20' ceilings, it looks spectacular. E Frank

Great Job

They were great. They gave me options, answered my questions, were here when they said they would be here and completed everything very quickly. Great company!

We hired South Valley after a great sales pitch by whom we thought was to be the foreman of the job. It turns out that he was merely a sales rep and his values didn't necessarily cross over to the crew that was sent to the house. Problems that came up were first and foremost the project took two weeks longer than promised, material was left outside and inside the house, no care was taken for personal effects that were unable to be removed from the area, material and blood splatter was left all over walls that were not repaved, no care was taken for doorways or sockets leaving them sunken in the wall. Terribly unsatisfied.

My expectations of the skill level of the work provided were higher than what was provided. The problem I had was that the subcontractors they used to hang the drywall lacked attention to detail. I had to have the cement board in the shower area removed and rehung due to poor installation. screws left toe nailed and sticking out, shower valve hole 2 1/2" off center. I myself removed at least 20 screws in the walls that weren't removed after missing the studs. Electrical boxes pushed back into the wall due to the installer hanging the drywall and not cutting out the hole until the sheet was already hung. Had to replace one damaged box.

Very Professional diligent.

The estimate process was simple and straightforward; I especially appreciated being able to communicate via email for scheduling, basic communication needs, etc. I would have prefered two workers on the project for ease and speed, but the worker was efficient and proficient: a little more attention to detail and a better clean-up afterwards would have raised their rating. Overall, I would definitely recommend South Valley Drywall to anyone and plan to use them again myself!

Good job except for the clean-up. Materials left behind and no attempt to clean up dirty footprints on carpeting. very reasonable price for the work, though.

Good estimator but once he leaves they send you to the crew cheif who runs a few crews and is not on the job all the time so when it can make it difficult to confirm what is going on or what needs to be done once the job is in progress.
