City: Silverton Project: Faucets, Fixtures and Pipes - Repair or Replace I was given the wrong information about my project when I first called.  I asked that an outside water pipe be shortened by two feet and that a new facet be installed.  The person… Read Complete Rating I was given the wrong information about my project when I first called.  I asked that an outside water pipe be shortened by two feet and that a new facet be installed.  The person answering the phone said that the job could be accomplished.  When the plumber arrived, he said that he was told that he was only installing a new faucet.  He said that galvanized pipe cannot be cut.  Also, he arrived on the job three days later than originally scheduled.  Although he could only install a new faucet (which I could have done myself) he still insisted on charging me the entire $90 service call fee.   Rating: Provided By: Vernon T.
