Project: Repair or Replace a Sump Pump
The quality and customer service were excellent. I asked to understand how my pump system worked and they explained everything to me. I only put a 3 for value for the money because I think this type of service is just too expensive (all maintenance from service professionals). It makes it hard to make it part of regular maintenance. But I would definitely use them again and it gives me peace of mind to know that everything is working fine before our rainy season gets into full gear.

They rushed me in as a last minute job and the guys were care full and prtected the room going to and from the crawl space.

Project: Install or Replace a Water Heater
Hot water tank was leaking, needed immediate help, South Salem Plumbing was very cordial and said they would be out same day. Price $800.00. This Amount equates to $459.95(advertised retail price) plus $340.05 Labor, which breaks down to about $170.00 per hour. This seems to me to be taking advantage of a senior citizen in need of help.

Decision was based on product. I was well impressed with Jason Burns of Focus, but liked American Standard brand best.

Project: Install or Replace a Heat Pump
I had a small amount of time to work within. They completed and even made an extra call within my time frame. The work was exceptional with only a few flaws. Very knowledgeable and capable. Whit managed to keep us happy while all the noisy, messy work was done as well as informing us of the progress. He was easy and the best to work with.

Project: Remodel a Bathroom
Consruction site not kept as clean as expected. Daily clean up in work area was not performed which caused a considerable amount of dust throughout the house by forced air heat. Project much longer then told to us., but I felt they were over optiimistic at the time. Will need to have heating system contractor out to clean system when complete
