Not only were they the most reasonably priced, they were able to run the electic for me. Every other company told me I would have to hire an electrician (more money). Save yourself the time and headache of tons of bids and use Smith Gate. Very happy with the work.

I met with Tony Cruz for the intial dealings. He was very prompt and courteous. He answered all my questions so I could understand how things would transpire. There was a slightly longer wait getting started, but that was due to Mother Nature. The posts were set and when the crew came to finish the installation, they were both very polite and left the work area clean. Now I have beautiful gates on both sides of my house. When the neighbors ask, I recommended Tony and Smith Gates!!!!

We hired this company 6 weeks ago, the project is not even half way completed. The customer service and communication is terrible! We are trying to get our money back! Now that the job is complete we are satisfied with our product, however, the customer service was still inexcusable. We have been assured from the owner that he has fixed the customer service problem.

It took a few visits to get the driveway gate repaired correctly but in the end it looks great. Customer service was good. They painted replaced portions of gate bright white but gate was cream. They came back and repainted it cream. First picket of gate was still bent after repair but they came back and replaced it. Tried to charge a $50 return trip charge but I refused. Overall gate looks great and they had the best deal of everyone I got quotes from but it just took a little longer. I would recommend them in the end. They did the repair on site and you can't tell the gate was ever hit by a car.

The gate they installed has not worked properly from the first day. Pete the owner demanded I pay cash for the last half of the job before he would complete the job which i did based on his promising that if anything was wrong he stands behind his product. Well that is not true!! The gate bangs and bounces when closing and is not the least bit secure, as they promised. I bought the gate to keep kids and pets in the yard. My three year old Grand Daughter can push it open about 18 inches easily. Pete the owner promises to call back but never does and his salesman Tony who promised security is the same way. Now I'll have to go to court!

The statement that is listed above is not true. The customer was very happy when we finished with job. When we completed the gate we ask to be paid the balance, and the customer did not want to pay. I don't think they could afford the gate. That may be the problem. As everyone can see our ratings are five star for a reason. The best customer service we can provide, with top quality products. As everyone understands there are two sides to every storey. We are not going to court, that is not true. Smith Gate will stand by every product,employee and workmanship.
