I LOVE my new space! Shannon Contracting renovated the basement of my 1923 bungalow, adding a bathroom, finishing the bedroom space, installing an egress, and providing more structural support to the overhead floor joists. Kevin and his crew were professional and efficient throughout the whole project. Kevin was available whenever I had questions, and he kept me updated regularly on the work that had been done and what was upcoming. Kevin welcomed my input into the design process, and because he understood the aesthetic I was trying to create, he designed a space that I want to be in every day. His enthusiasm throughout made the whole project

Kevin Shannon was thorough and professional in his approach to my roofing project. He offered additional suggestions to mitigate the moisture issue affecting the whole house. His crew removed and replaced the roof quickly considering the short windows of good weather available, and they did a good job of cleaning up after their work . An excellent job overall.

Kevin Shannon is a friendly guy, easy to work with, knows his stuff and uses good materials. He guarantees his work. It was completed promptly.

They did a beautiful job on replacing my cedar siding - taking lots of care to make it look perfect. They even replaced additional siding at no charge that they thought was deterioriating. Great people to work with, and they do really, really nice work.

Quality of work seems fine, but getting Kevin to follow through with the other details (such as respond to voice mails, getting me a receipt, or getting my key back to me) are taking weeks. Kevin is easy to work with in the beginning but in my experience, he did not want to deal with these other details after the fact. In my opinion, a job is not complete until it is complete.

When we order from the factory we are bound to there time lines also. In this hectic time when people sell houses their expectations are not real. We were timely and kept all promises. We do however understand all clients are intitled to their opinions. We do respectfully disagree with her conclusions and wish her all the best in her new house/city.

Great professional attitude; a careful detail oriented work. I'm really happy with my choice.

Quality work/ terrible cust service: forgets appts, doesn’t return phone calls, won’t itemize labor/materials, starts work w/out signed contract or agreed start date. Not registered w/DEQ for asbestos work & when asked about concerned work practices, was very nasty & condescending demanded $2000 more to follow DEQ protocol and wanted to be paid in full that nite, even hung up on me. Job appeared abandoned then surprisingly finished a few days later while we were at work. I’m appauled by his unprofessinalism even though he apologized for losing his cool; I feel it still reflects bad on his character and his company.

we tackled a very difiicult repair which no one else would do for these clients. We supplied her with an acitivity report which broke down all the costs. This was a small repair $2500. WE were compliant with DEQ , none the less she still called them out; after a five minute review that costed us a day they agrreed we were compiant under their guidelines. As far as losing my cool. I was annoyed yes, but always professional. I know it sounds like a lot of explanations, but there are aggressive comments here,they need answers. However with all due respect to the client SC has doubled its efforts to create sucessful results for the client.

Shannon was fabulous! The roof and beam were completed in one day! They went far beyond my expectations and they did a number of little "extra" that were very welcomed! I would highly recommend this pro to anyone, and have already recommended him to my neighbor. Shannon was the very best contractor that I have ever worked with and I am an extremely picky consumer. This rating is not given lightly.. If you want the best, go with Shannon Contracting
