Shades of Marin were started in 1953 by M. G. (Swede) Widergren. We have been in the same location since our inception. Swede's son Bob purchased Shades of Marin in 1986. The best lesson passed from father to son was the importance of taking care of your customers. Bob's son Eric joined the firm in 1998.
