Areas of Expertise
1. Sorting: The first step to organizing is sorting all of the clutter into Categories. This will entail sorting items into categories by location, type or use. Once items are sorted they are then sorted again into subcategories for specific organization.
2. Purging: This is determining the functional value of an item, and discussing how useful and essential the item is in your life. Items that are no longer needed will be sorted into the categories of relocate, garbage, donate, sell, recycle and/or shred.
3. Cleaning: Once a space is cleared of items it will be cleaned by either wiping the area down with cleaner and paper towel and/or vacuuming.
4. Organizing: This is where I help make sound decisions about how your stuff should be stored to give the most benefit. Items will be rearranged by category, order, proximity and ease of use. This is also where most of the tips and tricks of staying organized are discussed and implemented.

Review by a customerin Saint Paul, MN Project: Find a Home Organizer Consultant
Hired them to do cleaning instead of organization. Services on an hourly basis were high and the professional tried to rush through his work to be competitive; sometimes cleaning wasn't as thorough as expected.

Review by Steve C.in Plymouth, MN Project: Clean House Interior (Maid Service)
The owner, Nikki, was very pleasant on the phone and promised a lot. That said she and her cleaning staff did not deliver. I used the cleaning service once a month for a year. They could not keep the scheduled time and sometimes on the day they did agree to come, they would call that morning and say they could not make it for some reason or other. Once on site, the actual cleaning was at best so, so. I will not use them in the future and do not recommend them.
Comment from Seriously Organized, LLC
This clients home was very large and very dirty each time we came. She would only agree to 2 hours a month and it was not enough time needed to properly clean to her expectations. I do agree that we did not have a staff member that was consistence, that staff member was fired do to this problem. We have since closed the cleaning services offered by our company. Other customers were very happy with out services. She was the only cleaning client that was unsatisfied with our services. Again I think this is due to not giving us enough time to clean.

Review by Chris H.in Saint Louis Park, MN Project: Find a Home Organizer Consultant
Nikki has been doing a great job accommodating me, finding ways to work with my schedule & working out flexible methods of payment. The only downfall I see is that the service seems very expensive. Even though my project is not completed yet, I have otherwise been very happy with the results of the work that has been done, and Nikki's advice & recommendations have been insightful.

This client was offed a 30% discount on services, I spoke to him after his comment and he agreed that he should have given us 5 full stars and not marked prices too high.

She was very thoughtful about the work. She has kept in touch to see how I am doing. She is very caring and did a very professional job. She went above and beyond to help me establish new skills about the work she taught me. I will be able to maintain the new skills.
