I chose to work in this industry because My Father, Roger Seitz, was on the design team for John Hancock; I grew up knowing Chicago architecture and construction..I love working in Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Wrigleyville, Bucktown, & Wicker Park because it's close to home and always been my neighborhood..We started in this industry in 1988.We describe our business as Well established

Project: Install Interior Trim and Decorative Moldings
The work Steve had finished within our home was well done. He did trimwork, installed doors, and painted. However, he had a couple helpers with the painting who's work was sloppy on the edges and left paint splatters on the floor. I would trust Steve's ability but not the helpers that worked on our job. We also had a little trouble understanding when he was going to be arriving to work, which is frustating as a homeowner since we cannot wait at home all hours or leave the doors unlocked. A little more respect for our schedule would have been appreciated. Original contract price was fair but any change orders will be charged at a much higher rate than the original contract. Make sure what you think is included is in fact included in the contract.

Project: Hire a Handyman
Stephen, the company owner, installed a window insulation kit on several large windows in my home. It was bitterly cold and he rearranged his schedule to personally come over immediately to take of this project, which I was ever so grateful for. Communications: They were professional, personable, accommodating and concisely understood the what needed to be done. Workmanship: Excellent - Precise and thorough Work Ethic: Outstanding - Held to schedule for arrival, met estimate, stayed focused I'm looking forward to working with them again as the need arises.
