Spoke to the owner, John, about a problem that I was having with my alarm system that was installed by a large franchise alarm company about 5 years ago. They refused to help me because I was no longer getting monitored through their company. John helped me troubleshoot the issue over the phone without hesitation, which took all of about 5 minutes. When I am ready to upgrade my system, John will be the first person I call. I will also make sure that I pass his name and number to all friends and family. Thanks again for the help.

Security Pros installed a surveillance system in my home and they dis a spectacular job. It was seamless, neat and clean. All of the cords were hidden and the setup was flawless. I would recommend Ryan and Jim to anyone looking to have a professional installation. They were great.

$39.95+tx per month/36 month agreement. It is what it is. You might find it for less, but in our 21 years of serving the Mid Atlantic Region, we have found that those companies usually end up going out of business. However, further down the road, Security Pro's is still here to serve those who went the cheaper route.

This company is probably best suited for business installations more so than residential. Installers were not prepared with wall plates and other items req. for residential install. I provided plates and was not happy with the additional hole in my MB wall nor the extra 15 feet of cable rolled behind my dresser and connected to my DVR recorder. Residential installs need to be cleaner and homes prescreened prior to install to assure all necessary equipments , parts, etc are onsite for the install. There was another issue with blown cameras resulting from the install that was an additional contributing factor not to provide recommendation.

Duane is a do-it-yourself, give me the basics, I will do it myself, keep the costs down, consumer. He instructed our technicians where and how to run the cabling. When we could not fish wire into the area he preferred, we were forced to go to an alternate location. Extra cabling was requested by the consumer so that "He could disconnect the DVR and Power Supply to move them himself." Which, he did and in doing so he improperly connected 12V cameras to 24V of power therefor burning them up. He tried to have DiscoverCard take money back, however they did not. Figure this one out for yourselves.

They came out on 9/4 to fix a few things on my system. When they left, we thought everything was ok, but they actually made the problem worse - it went from the alarm going off every two weeks to it going off multiple times daily.
I sent them an email on 9/7, nothing. I called on 9/8, was told they would call me back, nothing. I called on 9/9, was again told they would call me back, again nothing. They finally called me back on 9/10, and told me they needed to talk to someone else about my system, and that they would call me back. Nothing. On 9/13, I gave up and hired someone else. Pretty much a complete waste of $85 and a lot of my time

This customer called on an emergency basis because alarm system kept falsing and going off without reason. (We Did Not Install or Service this system Ever.) We sent a technician to the site right away to find an older control panel and horrendous wiring situation. The technician on site was not familiar with all of the system programming or devices and did what he knew. Before our Senior technician could go back out to the house, the customer had already gotten another company to come in. We refunded the $85.00 we charged for the visit. Don't know how we could have done anything different.
