Some plank replacement just wont work in this case the customer had planks from the time when it was installed and it mad things much easier other times after replacing planks we have to refinish the whole floor to make things blend this was not your typical repair but when you have this kind of trouble we have a few tricks and ideas that just might work the same for you and save the time and money after doing floors for 33 years we are still learning new thing every day this is why once again we have a happy customer that saved the time and money she was hopping for and we can do it for everyone

Emilio's team did an amazing job with our floors. We had to have a hardware fix right in the middle of our kitchen floor when we removed an island and you could never tell! The entire floors were then refinished in a great color matching the oak on our front staircase. Great job -- we're glad we selected Sciortino and Sons.

This is an update to my original rating. Finally got the floor installed - now there seems to be a problem with the company that makes the flooring. Mullican isn't returning the installers calls about an issue with pink boards mixed in with the saddle coloring. This may be a natural effect and takes a bit of time to "cure". So I am now in limbo as to getting my house back in order. There are a couple of things the installers need to correct, which they said they would do as soon as something is decided from the flooring Manufactor.

Our true colors we called our suppliers and did the right thing and stayed on top of this every step of the way we were there when our manufacture sent a claim adjuster and he was slow to say the truth but we stayed in touch with our customer made visits until replacement flooring arrived the day after we replaced the planks and gave some attention to a few other concerns and as of today I said we would stand by our work and product we did and it is done as we said there are other contractors and there are craftsman we kept our promise returned and made it right and that is why we are trusted it's the way it should be

Sciortino and Sons Hardwood is without questions the best hardwood floor service in the business. I had the pleasure of working with Emilio the duration of the process and I could not have been more impressed. The job was completed in the highest degree of professionalism and in an extremely timely manner. My 100+ year old hardwood floors came out looking brand new! The service not only added value to my home, it put a refined and elegant finish that brings the whole house together. Great to work with from the estimate to the installation. Installation was superb and they went out of the way to please. Final clean up was great and they had a principal come and do a walk thru to make sure we were pleased.

Happy with the end result. I enjoyed working with the rep who gave me a quote and organized the work. Communication could have been better but I think there were also extenuating circumstances at the office that week. My only complaint is that something was spilled on a small patch of carpet outside of one of the rooms. Whatever was spilled was clear so I almost missed it, but the carpet was rock hard at this one spot. This spot of carpet is out of the way so I never bothered to ask them about it, but I wish they would have mentioned it or offered to clean/repair the carpet. Overall the floors look gorgeous.
